Pollination Notes
Plums: Methley is self-fertile but will yields will better when planted with another Japanese plum/plumcot like Spring Satin (available summer 2026) New York 9 is a European variety and is self fertile but yields will be better when planted with another European variety.
Cherries (Montmorency): Self-fertile — does not need another cherry tree for pollination, though yield can improve with another sour cherry nearby.
